Strictly speaking, The Stone Trust is not a membership organization. That is, we do not primarily derive our core income from dues-paying members, each of which has a 'vote' in the well-being of the organization. The Stone Trust is operated by a Board of Directors who steward The Stone Trust's mission.
The Stone Trust is, like any well-constructed nonprofit, dependent upon a number of tributary streams of income, and so contributions of all sorts play an important role in our collective efforts.

The Stone Trust is registered as a nonprofit organization with both the State of Vermont. The Stone Trust is currently seeking 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service. |
